Let's have a yarn about irlens syndrome

I have purple glasses because I have a condition called irlens syndrome which not many people know about.

I got diagnosed in may of 2022, got my first pare of tinted glasses in June of 2022, my second in January of 2023 and I'm in the process of getting my 3rd pair.

So what exactly is irlens?
Er-lin-s
Irlens is a severe light sensitivity disorder.
Many things that it cases include:
Math difficultys
Headaches and migraines
Anxiety
Poor comprehension 
Poor spelling
Speech delay
And many other things 

And is related to:
Dyslexia
Autism
ADHD
ADD
Sensory processing disorder 

Yes there potentially is a way to help you out with any of these issues.
If you are diagnosed with irlens, you may get tinted glasses that are incredible.
Each person has wildly different colours and shades fit for there minds.

Hiya 👋🏽 Let's have a yarn about autistic burnout Autistic burnout is something that really need to be talked about so let's spread some awareness So one year ago I couldn't leave the house, I couldn't go to school, have freinds over and barely eat. This was all caused by autistic burnout.  Burnout is caused by doing too much and not allowing yourself to rest or be 'autistic'  What I mean by that is masking, basically unconsciously pretending to be alistic. Things that are considered masking:  Forcing yourself to make eye contact Not allowing yourself to stim Avoiding talking about things your passionate about to seem less 'weird' Forcing yourself to eat things you don't want to Ignoring your sensory issues And lots of other things Burnout can last days, weeks, months or even years. Hiya👋🏽 Let's have a yarn about school attendance I'm going to start off by saying I've berly been at school, my whole schooling journey I've rarely gone for a week straight. I've always battled with 'school refusal' I'm not a big fan of this term, it makes me feel as if it's something I do on purpose instead of the school system failing to accommodate for me.  With year 9 now behind me although I feel extremely proud of myself, I still have an awful voice saying I didn't really do that great. It dose make me rather sad that even at a school that cares about my needs and dose there best to accommodate for me, I still didn't have very good attendance. Things that stop me from going can include but not limited to:  anxiety, I simply can't go, a dreadful stomach ache worried about the many possibilities that could unfold.
